1st August – Perth

Consecutive wins for Ink Master as he comfortably wins the 2m Handicap Chase by 32 lengths in the hands of Brian Hughes owned by Green Day Racing.

Took keen hold, led and clear until not fluent 3rd, headed 6th, pressed leader, just over 1 length down and keeping on when left 6 lengths clear 2 out, kept on well (op 6/4)


29th July – Uttoxeter

A victorious hurdling debut by Ormesher as he wins the 2m Juvenile Hurdle by 9 lengths under Brian Hughes in the colours of Sarah & Wayne Dale.

Taken steadily towards rear, effort on inner and pushed along from 3 out, led next, 4 lengths clear and outstaying floundering rivals when mistake last


27th July – Uttoxeter

Sonic makes all to win the 2m4f Maiden Hurdle by 4 lengths under Brian Hughes in the colours of Special Piping Materials Ltd.


26th July – Worcester

Fit For Fifty wins the 2m4f Handicap Chase by 9 lengths under Brian Hughes in the colours of Don’t Tell The Wife Racing Limited.

Travelled well in midfield, progress in 3rd home turn, jumped ahead 3 out where all but two of his rivals were struggling, forged 8 lengths clear last, kept up to work when in command after (tchd 9/2)


23rd July – Cartmel

Sticky toffee pudding all round! A treble on the day for team McCain as Beach Break (G E Fitzpatrick), Dear Sire (Green Day Racing) and Raise A Spark (R Pattison & R Kent) all win well under Brian Hughes.


22nd July – Stratford

A pillar-to-post victory for Ink Master as he wins the 2m2½f Selling Hurdle by 30 lengths under Brian Hughes for Green Day Racing.

Mounted on course and taken down early, made all, ridden to draw right away after 2 out, virtually solo after (op 11/2)


21st July – Cartmel

The feature race of the day goes to William Of Orange taking the Class 3 2m6f Cumbria Crystal Cup Handicap Hurdle by a nose under Lorcan Murtagh in the colours of T W Johnson & G Maxwell.

Held up, steady headway before 3 out, effort when left 3 lengths third last, kept on well run-in to lead last stride (op 10/1)
