Brian Hughes first choice for Bankhouse

I am delighted to announce that Brian Hughes has agreed to become first-choice jockey for my team at Bankhouse. For a number of years now Brian has been the standout rider in the North of England so this appointment can only be a positive step for the long-term future and security of my business, and in the best interest of my owners, my staff and my horses who have supported us all so well.
However, Brian was keen to stress that he would like to continue to ride for the yards who have supported him over recent years as with the Jefferson family, this we feel should not be an issue.
Obviously, Will Kennedy has been a big part of our success over the last few seasons he has ridden a lot of winners for the yard and hopefully will continue to do so.
I feel very lucky to now be able to call regularly on two of the Norths leading riders and look forward to a long and successful association – Donald McCain
