Donald McCain Jnr has established himself as one of the North’s leading trainers since taking the reins from his father, Ginger McCain, trainer of the legendary Red Rum, in the 2006/07 season.
Based at Bankhouse, in the beautiful Cholmondeley Castle Estate, nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside and set within 200 acres.
Donald and the team have firmly established themselves as a successful dual-purpose operation, amassing over 1,700 winners.

Achivements Some of Our Highlights
Emulating his father, Donald has already trained one Aintree Grand National winner in the form of Ballabriggs in 2011.
Cheltenham Festival winners have been plentiful with Cloudy Lane, Whiteoak, Peddlers Cross and Ballabriggs.
Big success on the Flat has also been achieved, with Overturn winning the Northumberland Plate in 2010 and Chester Cup in 2011, and Ile De Re winning the same two races in 2012.
