Donald McCain Jnr has established himself as the North’s leading trainer since taking over the reins from his father, Ginger McCain trainer of legendary Red Rum, during the 2006/07 season.

Based at Bankhouse situated in the beautiful Cholmondeley Castle Estate nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, set within 200 acres.

Achivements Some of Our Highlights

Emulating his father, Donald has already trained one Grand National winner, Ballabriggs in 2011.

Cheltenham Festival winners have been plentiful with Cloudy Lane, Whiteoak, Peddlers Cross and Ballabriggs.

Big wins on the flat also winning the Northumberland Plate in 2012 and the Chester Cup in 2011 & 2012.
