Meet The Team

ADRIAN LANE

ADRIAN LANE

ASSISTANT TRAINER

In Donald's words 'Over the past 10 years Adrian has become the single most important part of the team along with a friend and confidant.'

As a work rider Adrian is irreplaceable and was the making of horses such as Peddler's Cross and Cinders And Ashes. Without exception he leads all racecourse gallops and serious pieces of work which ensures it is always done correctly. Importantly as a judge, if he says one is nice or no good then he is rarely wrong. He is also the first man to take charge of educating the youngsters in the jumping department.

Adrian represents Donald regularly at the races, jockeys rely on his advice and feel free to ring him to find out more about the horses they are riding. With regards to the jockeys, this goes to the extent of them saying 'never mind you, what does Ado say?'

DERWYN WILLIAMS 'Daz'

DERWYN WILLIAMS 'Daz'

HEAD LAD

'Daz' has been here at Bankhouse for nearly 10 years in all and as Head Lad for the past 4 years. He has become an intrinsic part of the team and is trusted by Donald implicitly.

In his spare time Daz loves fishing and Liverpool Football Club.

LUDOVIC GAUBUSSEAU

LUDOVIC GAUBUSSEAU

TRAVELLING HEAD LAD

Ludo is one of the longest serving members of the team, having been here for over 10 years. I don't think that anyone in the Racing Industry could disagree that he is one of the best Travelling Head Lads in the country. His attention to detail regarding not only the welfare of the horses in his care but most notably 'turnout' is second to none.

In his spare time he is a keen and accomplished runner.

MARK JONES

MARK JONES

ASSISTANT TRAVELLING HEAD LAD

Mark has been here at Bankhouse for nearly 6 years. An excellent horseman with a wealth of experience.

LISA LITCHFIELD

LISA LITCHFIELD

ASSISTANT HEAD GROOM

Lisa is enjoying her more supervisory roll and is making a really good job of it too. Her favourite horse was Lastbutnotleast who has now retired to stud. Lisa is looking forward to her offspring and hopes they are as good as their mum when they arrive.
